ARABCIA holds its fifth General Assembly meeting in Amman
The Arab Confederation of Internal Auditors held its fifth General Assembly meeting in Amman, Jordan, chaired by H.E. Dr. Hussam Abdulmohsen Alangari, President of the General Court of Audit and Chairman of the Confederation, with the heads of the member institutes and associations taking part.
Second ARABCIA Conference opens in AlUla under the theme "Together for Leadership"
The second conference of the Arab Confederation of Internal Auditors opened in AlUla under the theme "Together for Leadership", under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hussam Abdulmohsen Alangari, President of the General Court of Audit and Chairman of the Confederation.
Fourth General Assembly reviews the 2030 strategic plan in Rabat
The Arab Confederation of Internal Auditors held its fourth General Assembly meeting in Rabat, Morocco, chaired by H.E. Dr. Hussam Abdulmohsen Alangari, Chairman of the Confederation.

ARABCIA and The IIA sign a Memorandum of Understanding
The Arab Confederation of Internal Auditors and The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Jeddah. It was signed for the Confederation by Chairman Dr. Hussam Alangari and Secretary General Mr. Abdullah AlShebeili, and for The IIA by President and CEO Anthony Pugliese and Global Board Chair Benito Ybarra.
The MoU provides for enhanced collaboration and resource sharing among the region's member institutes, promotion of The IIA's Standards and the CIA certification, joint research, events and translation initiatives, professional education and development, and closer coordination with IIA Global Headquarters.
Under the agreement, the Confederation became The IIA's recognized regional organization for the Arab region.
