Accessibility
Our commitment
The Confederation is committed to a website that as many people as possible can use, including people with disabilities, and aims to conform to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) in both the Arabic and English versions.
What we have done
Colour contrast that meets the minimum for text and buttons.
Every page and form can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
Alternative text for images, a logical heading order, and clear labels on form fields.
Full right-to-left support, and text that can be enlarged to 200% without losing content.
Respect for the reduce-motion preference in device settings.
What we are still working on
Some older publications in the Digital Library are untagged PDFs. We are working on tagged or alternative versions, and you can request any publication in an accessible format.
Tell us
If you have difficulty using any part of the site, email info@arabciia.org with the page and the problem, and we will reply within five working days.
