The first conference of the Arab Confederation of Internal Auditors was held in Cairo with the participation of The Institute of Internal Auditors and the member institutes and associations.

Secretary General Mr. Abdullah Saleh AlShebeili underlined the Kingdom's commitment to sharing its leading internal audit experience and developing the profession across the Arab world, and said the conference aims to spread the culture of internal auditing and develop its standards in line with the Arab context.

The sessions focused on integrating artificial intelligence into internal audit work and its impact on the future of the profession.
